Karl Backlund

Karl Backlund is the Founder & CEO of Noble since 2020. Prior to that, they were a Board Member at Ocean Club Group from 2018. At Ocean Club Group, Karl contributed to notable developments such as La Boca and The Ocean Club. Before that, they co-founded Marchay in 2012, a membership-based subscription service for CEOs and business owners. Marchay was recognized as the 8th fastest-growing US business within travel & hospitality and was featured in American Express Departures magazine. Karl also worked as an Associate at Foundry Capital from 2012 to 2014.

Karl Backlund completed their Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 2005 to 2009. Karl then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Finance and Luxury Brand Management at the ESSEC Business School from 2009 to 2012.
