Daniel Walton

Senior Data Scientist

Daniel Walton is a highly skilled data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and statistical methods. From June 2019 to April 2024, Daniel served as a Data Scientist at Marchex, focusing on creating and deploying machine learning models to analyze caller conversations. Daniel's career also includes a role as an Applied Scientist/Mathematician at ChefSteps in 2018, contributing to innovative smart kitchen products. Prior academic experience includes positions at UCLA as a Graduate Student, Staff Research Associate II, Graduate Student Researcher, and Postdoctoral Scholar, where Daniel developed advanced statistical techniques for climate modeling and conducted high-resolution simulations utilizing supercomputing resources.
