Troy Hartless

Troy Hartless joined Marchex in 2023 to lead Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success. Previously, Mr. Hartless served as the CEO of TLJ Capital. Prior to TLJ Capital, Mr. Hartless served as Chief Revenue Officer at Callis Communications, a SaaS IT business solutions provider, until the company was acquired by CSpire. Prior to Callis, Mr. Hartless served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Secure Data in Motion, a federated authentication and data encryption software company, in San Mateo, CA. Mr. Hartless orchestrated the sale of Secure Data in Motion to Proofpoint (PFPT), a publicly traded cybersecurity company. Mr. Hartless also served as the COO of Infodata Systems (INFD), until the company was acquired by McDonald Bradley. Mr. Hartless held several other executive positions including CRO at 9 Lenses, a data analytics company, and VP of Enterprise Solutions at Government Technology Services, Inc. (GTSI). He also worked in various positions in Marketing, Product Management, and in the international division of a joint venture between Ericsson (ERIC) and General Electric (GE). Mr. Hartless earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Liberty University.
