Erik Kolb

Erik Kolb has a diverse work experience in the education field. Erik began their career as a Tutor at Inspirica Pros in November 2016, where they specialized in various subjects such as ACT, AP History, college admissions, test prep, and homework help. In November 2018, they joined Marco Learning as a Writer and Content Developer for AP U.S. History and AP World History. Erik then moved on to work at The Art of Admissions LLC in April 2019 as an Admissions Advisor, providing guidance and support to international applicants for college selection and application processes. Prior to these roles, Erik worked at The Princeton Review for over a decade in multiple positions, including Content Developer/Writer/Editor, Master Trainer, Premier Tutor, Teacher, Master Tutor, and Tutor, primarily focused on developing content for various exams and providing tutoring and training services.

Erik Kolb has an extensive education history in the fields of history, religious studies, ancient history, philosophy, and archaeology. Erik obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy from Wheaton College in 2003. During their undergraduate years, Erik also participated in a Summer Field Term at Wheaton College in 2001, focusing on Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology.

After their undergraduate studies, Erik pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in History/Religious Studies at Yale University from 2003 to 2006. Erik then continued their education at The Catholic University of America, where they earned another M.A. degree in Ancient History/Religious Studies from 2006 to 2015.

Erik further enhanced their academic knowledge with independent studies: in 2002, they engaged in independent studies in Philosophy at the University of Oxford, and in 2008, they pursued independent studies in Coptic Papyrology at Leipzig University.
