Eric Sigman

Eric Sigman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Eric began their career in 2002 as an Operations Manager at Visual Aids Electronics. Eric then worked as a Project Manager at TRAVIS Inc. from 2003 to 2005 and as a Stagehand (Extra Board) at IATSE Local #31 during the same year. From 2005 to 2008, they held the position of Project Manager at Creative Technology Ltd. and also worked as a Freelance Project Manager/Technician. In 2010, Eric joined Verizon FNS as a Network Controller - IP Network Operations Center and later moved on to Avaya Government Solutions as a LAN Systems Engineer from 2012 to 2014. Eric then worked at Camber Corporation as a LAN Systems Engineer from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Eric is employed at Marcone Supply, starting as a Senior Network Engineer in 2016, then transitioned to Director of IT Infrastructure in 2019, and currently holds the position of VP, IT Operations.

Eric Sigman began their education at Collinsville High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1983 to 1987. After high school, they attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 1987 to 1994, where they obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees. The first degree was in Mass Communications with a focus on German, and the second degree was in Foreign Languages with a specialization in German.

Later, from 2009 to 2011, Eric enrolled in Southwestern Illinois College and earned an Associate of Science degree in Network Administration and Design. Eric also obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2012, Eric achieved the Cisco Certified Network Professional certification. In 2013, they completed the Searching and Reporting with Splunk> 5.0 certification from Splunk. Furthermore, they obtained the Certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate Security and Security+ from Cisco and CompTIA respectively in July 2014. Subsequently, in November 2015, they acquired the Cisco Certified Design Associate and Cisco Certified Design Professional certifications. Lastly, they obtained the Certified Meraki Network Operator certification from Cisco Meraki in April 2017.
