Sylvia Bain

Sylvia Bain currently serves as Event Director at the International Council of Energy & Environment since August 2023. Prior to this position, Sylvia has held the role of European Operations Director at marcus evans Group since April 2001, overseeing the delivery of over 200 business conferences and summits annually across various industries. Sylvia's experience includes annual event planning, contract negotiation, budget management, and team leadership across multiple European offices. Earlier roles include a trainee position at Sandals Resorts and an event coordinator role at SORAT Hotels Deutschland, where Sylvia managed events and client relations. Sylvia earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Heriot-Watt University between 2005 and 2009.
