Thomas Adams is a researcher and PHD student at MaREI since October 2020. Thomas also holds the title of Communications Officer at Ryan Institute since November 2021. Previously, Thomas worked as a Student Researcher at Engineers Ireland in September 2019. Thomas has also worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Boston Scientific in January 2018. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Galway and a Master's degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the same institution. Currently, Thomas is pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering at the University of Galway. Thomas also served as a Climate Ambassador at An Taisce from January 2022 to December 2022.
