Bart Postmus

Bart Postmus is an experienced patent attorney specializing in pharma, chemistry, engineering, medical, and infant food sectors. With a career spanning from Unilever as a Product Development Manager to roles as a patent attorney at NLO and Marel, Bart has developed expertise in global examination proceedings and managing IP matters across multiple business units. Currently serving as a patent attorney and team lead for patent paralegals at Marel, Bart also holds a board member position at the Orde van Octrooigemachtigden, representing the professional interests of patent attorneys in the Netherlands. Bart holds a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Groningen, a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Wageningen University & Research, and studied Environmental Engineering at Yale University.
