Inge Helmers

Inge Helmers currently serves as the Global Learning & Development Director at Marel since January 2021. Previously, Inge held the position of Chief Learning Officer at Alliander from September 2018 to January 2021, focusing on technical training, learning and development, and leadership development in the context of energy transition for over three million customers in the Netherlands. Prior experience includes significant roles at Tata Steel in Europe, where Inge advanced from Head of Technical Capability and Training to Head of Management Development, Training, Recruitment, and Performance Management, contributing to personnel management and development strategies. Inge's earlier career involved HR management positions at Tata Steel, Hoogovens, and NV PWN Waterleidingbedrijf Noord-Holland. Inge holds dual degrees in Organizational Sociology and Political Science from the University of Amsterdam, alongside various professional training at institutions like IMD and NMI.
