Joe Sharpe

Joe Sharpe is an accomplished professional in the field of mechanical engineering with extensive experience in product development and innovation. Currently serving as Team Lead for Innovation at JBT Marel since February 2025, Joe oversees the engineer to order function and leads the innovation team. Prior to this role, Joe has been with Marel since July 2018 as a Mechanical Design Engineer, contributing to the development and launch of new products and managing various maintenance projects. Joe's earlier experience includes a position as a Mechanical Design Engineer at A Smith Gt Bentley Ltd and roles in coachbuilding and fabrication. Joe’s educational background includes ongoing studies for a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and multiple qualifications from Colchester Institute in mechanical engineering and welding.
