Claude Penn

Claude Penn has over two decades of experience in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as Director of Research and Development for Asia at Automotive Lighting since November 2013, where responsibilities include coordinating and developing R&D activities across multiple Asian countries. Prior experience includes roles at Renault, where Claude was a VA/VE Manager focusing on cost reduction strategies and a Cost Manager setting targets for outsourced components. Earlier positions at Renault also included Lighting Unit Manager, responsible for the development of external lighting equipment, and at Valeo Lighting Systems as Head of Department, where Claude established an R&D department in optical design in Spain. Claude's career commenced at Sagem Morpho as a Project Manager, contributing to international projects while also advancing within the company from R&D Engineer. Educational qualifications include an Engineer's degree in Optics/Optical Sciences from Institut d'Optique Graduate School.
