Dan McCowan

Dan McCowan is an experienced professional in the automotive industry, currently serving in the role of Finished Vehicle Logistics Special Projects at Nissan Motor Corporation since October 2023, where responsibilities include improving processes and key performance indicators related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. McCowan has held various significant positions, including Vice President Regional Corporate Quality at Marelli since December 2018 and Sr Director Corporate Quality at Calsonic Kansei North America, Inc. for a brief period in 2018. Prior to these roles, McCowan was associated with Nissan North America from April 2006 to March 2018, holding titles such as Senior Manager in both Supplier Development and the V-Up and Synergy Team, as well as earning recognition as a V-Expert and Six Sigma Master Blackbelt. Earlier experience at General Motors included the role of Director of Supplier Quality from October 2004 to March 2006, overseeing quality for all future product launches in North America. Dan McCowan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA from California State University, Northridge.
