Joachim Fetzer

Joachim Fetzer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as Chief Technology and Innovation Officer and Executive Vice President at Marelli since December 2018. Previously, Joachim held significant roles including CEO of the Business Unit Electric Powertrain at Marelli, Member of the Board at INOVANCE Automotive, and Managing Director at BRUSA Elektronik AG. With a background at Bosch, including Executive Vice President for Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Technology, and expertise in Li-Ion battery development at SB LiMotive, Joachim has demonstrated a strong focus on innovation and engineering excellence. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in electromagnetic field theory from the University of Stuttgart, where Joachim was also a Scientific Assistant, alongside an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
