Mauro Baseggio has extensive experience in the automotive software engineering sector, currently serving as Section Manager and Team Leader for Software Requirements, Architecture, Integration, and Application at Automotive Lighting since July 2016. Responsibilities include managing a team of approximately 15 internal colleagues and 20 external consultants, overseeing the selection of resources, toolchain management, and ensuring adherence to ASPICE and Agile processes. Mauro's previous roles encompass Senior Software Integrator and Lead Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and SW Project Leader, with a strong focus on AUTOSAR architecture and firmware development for electronic control units (ECUs) for major clients such as BMW. Prior experience includes consulting roles at Altran Italia and Positech Consulting, as well as firmware engineering positions at RCH and Tecnogamma. Mauro holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Padua.
