Global Head Of Information Systems Cybersecurity at Marelli

Roberto Puricelli has extensive experience in the field of information security. Roberto started their career as a Lab Tutor at Politecnico di Milano in 2007. Roberto then worked as a Junior R&D Engineer at Intesa Sanpaolo, where they provided internal decision support and researched innovative products and market trends.

From 2010 onwards, Puricelli joined Cefriel, initially as an ICT Security Consultant, where they conducted audits, vulnerability assessments, and designed security policies. Roberto later became the Senior ICT Security Consultant, specializing in project management, social-driven vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

In 2015, Puricelli became a Lecturer at MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business, where they shared their knowledge and expertise in information security.

In 2018, they joined Marelli as the CISO EMEA, responsible for developing and deploying cybersecurity strategies and programs in 10 countries and 50 sites. Roberto coordinated the implementation of corporate security policies and procedures, managed security incidents, and ensured the local implementation of security controls.

In 2020, Puricelli became a member of the Advisory Board at Osservatori Digital Innovation, focusing on cybersecurity and data protection.

In 2021, they took on the role of Global Head of Information Systems Cybersecurity at Marelli, overseeing security governance, risk management, security awareness, training, and vulnerability management.

Throughout their career, Puricelli has demonstrated expertise in various areas of information security, including blockchain technologies and human factor security assessment. Roberto'swork experience showcases their strong leadership skills and ability to develop effective cybersecurity strategies.

Roberto Puricelli completed their education in the following order:

- In 2013, they obtained a degree in Information Security Management from MIP Politecnico di Milano.

- From 2006 to 2009, they attended Politecnico di Milano and earned a degree in Computer Engineering, graduating with a score of 110/110.

- In 2006, Roberto pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which they completed in 2007.

- From 2003 to 2006, they studied Computer Science at Politecnico di Milano, achieving a degree score of 104/110.

In addition to their academic achievements, Roberto obtained the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2014.
