Simone Calcopietro's work experience includes:
- Starting in 2023, serving as the Head of Simulations - R&D Engineering Technologist at Marelli.
- From 2015 to 2022, working at ANKERS in various roles including Technical Director and CAE Manager, where they collaborated with Marelli and Porsche on a dashboard and infotainment project, performed material characterization and correlation tests, and participated in physical tests to meet customer and FMVSS 201L standards.

Simone Calcopietro received a Diploma in Scientific High School from Liceo Scientifico A.Aprosio in the years 2005 to 2010. Simone then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, completing the 1° livello - Laurea L at Politecnico di Torino from 2010 to 2013. Simone continued their education at Politecnico di Torino and obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Laurea Magistrale LM, from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Simone has also obtained several certifications including Altair - Acusolve for CFD and Altair - Optistruct for linear and non-linear analysis from Altair in 2017 and 2016 respectively.
