Thomas Foschini currently serves as the Motorsport Pumps R&D Supervisor at Marelli, a role held since April 2016, where responsibilities include managing a small team and coordinating cross-departmental efforts to ensure timely delivery of motorsport fuel systems. Previous positions at Marelli involved conceptual design and 3D CAD modeling of fuel system components, along with BOM management and technical documentation. Prior to Marelli, Thomas gained experience as an R&D Mechanical Engineering intern at Bilfinger Water Technologies GmbH and as a design engineering intern at GE Aviation, alongside completing a Master’s thesis focused on weight optimization in bicycle design. Thomas holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Surrey and a technical qualification in Aeronautics from Istituto Tecnico Aeronautico Francesco Baracca Forli.
