Erika Eason has extensive experience in education and technology. Erika worked at Maret School as the Director of Academic Technology, where they were responsible for the evaluation, design, development, and deployment of technology for teaching and learning. Erika also developed and led the strategic vision for educational technology at the school. Prior to this role, Erika was an Instructional Technologist and a Spanish teacher at Maret School. Before joining Maret School, they worked as a Spanish and French teacher at Roland Park Country School. Erika's work experience spans over two decades and showcases their expertise in educational technology and language instruction.

Erika Eason holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they completed from 2016 to 2020. Erika also earned a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology Integration from the same university between 2016 and 2018. Earlier in their education, Erika obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Cornell University from 1991 to 1995, with a major in Spanish and a concentration in Latino Studies. Prior to their university studies, they attended The Bryn Mawr School for high school. Additionally, Erika has obtained the Google Certified Educator Level 1 certification from Google in July 2020.
