Mark Weedon is an experienced technical leader with a strong background in enterprise sales engineering and technical direction across prominent technology companies. Currently serving as the EMEA Technical Director for MariaDB Corporation since February 2019, Mark contributes to the open-source relational database market. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Enterprise Sales Engineering at Looker, EMEA PreSales Director at Splunk, and PreSales Director for Qlik in the UKI and EMEA Hub, among others. Mark's extensive experience also encompasses positions at Spotfire Inc., Aston Scientific, and Exxon Chemical, along with a BSc in Analytical Chemistry from Loughborough University and an Advanced Diploma in Coaching.
