Kevin Matela

Kevin Matela has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the IT and audio engineering fields. Kevin is currently working at Marigold as the IT Operations Lead for the AMER region, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they were a Global Support Specialist at Marigold from October 2019 to August 2022.

Before joining Marigold, Kevin worked as a System Administrator at Jump Editorial from November 2015 to October 2019. Kevin also gained experience as a Quality Control Technician at Company 3 from September 2014 to November 2015.

Kevin's passion for audio engineering is evident in their previous roles. Kevin worked as an Audio Engineer & Technician at Germano Studios | The Hit Factory from July 2011 to July 2014. Kevin also had the opportunity to work at Abbey Road Studios as an Audio Engineer from April 2012 to February 2013, where they collaborated with Al Di Meola on recording acoustic versions of classic Beatles songs.

Starting their career in the audio industry, Kevin worked as an Assistant Audio Engineer at Platinum Sound Recording Studios from July 2010 to May 2011.

From 2008 to 2010, Kevin Matela studied at Flashpoint Chicago where they earned an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) degree in Recording Arts and Media.
