Vincent D. Warmerdam

Vincent D. Warmerdam is a seasoned professional in the fields of machine learning, data science, and developer advocacy, currently serving as the first full-time hire at marimo since February 2025, where efforts focus on community growth and workflow exploration. Prior experience includes roles such as Calm Coder at calmcode.io, Developer Relations Engineer at :probabl., Machine Learning Engineer at Explosion, and Research Advocate at Rasa. Vincent also held a senior position at GoDataDriven, contributing significantly to algorithm design and training. As a co-founder and chair of PyData Amsterdam, Vincent played a key role in establishing an influential conference and meetup. Additionally, Vincent has served as a math and statistics lecturer at Nyenrode Business Universiteit and has a solid educational background with master's and bachelor's degrees in Econometrics and Operations Research from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with an associate's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Delft University of Technology.
