Dimitris Markopoulos

Dimitris Markopoulos has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current position as a Senior Product Designer at Kpler since February 2023. Prior to that, Dimitris held the same role at MarineTraffic starting in September 2022. From December 2018 to September 2022, they worked as a UI/UX Designer at Vodafone Innovus. Before that, Dimitris worked at Persado as a Web/Graphic Designer from February 2017 to November 2018, where they gained experience in working on campaigns for Fortune 500 US financial, retail, and travel companies. Dimitris also designed and developed applications and tools for internal use at Persado. Dimitris' earlier experience includes roles as a UI/UX Designer at Microsoft Hellas in 2015 and at Creative Minds Ltd from November 2014 to January 2015. Their work experience began in the hospitality industry as a Hotel Employee at Hotel Olympia from an unspecified time in 2010 to 2014.

Dimitris Markopoulos completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Product & Systems Design Engineering from the University of the Aegean, where they studied from 2009 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Dimitris has obtained multiple certifications. In 2016, they received the "Online Marketing Fundamentals in Tourism | Grow Greek Tourism Online" certification from Google. The following year, they obtained the "iRidium Specialist for KNX" certification from iRidiumMobile.nl and the "User Experience for the web" certification from Open Universities Australia.

Dimitris also attended the "Summer School: e-Biz2017" program at the University of the Aegean in July 2017. Dimitris later received the "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner" certification from IBM in April 2020, and the "Enterprize Design Thinking Co-Creator" certification from IBM in June 2020.

Most recently, Dimitris obtained the "Digital Business Transformation" certification from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens in February 2022. It is worth noting that Dimitris is also a member of the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF), earning the "IDF Certificate of Membership" at an unspecified date.
