Marins, Inc. is a Delaware-based medical device company and the developer of the ProHensor® VCAL, the world's first modular, voluntary-closing auto-locking terminal device for upper-limb amputees.

The ProHensor VCAL was invented by an upper-limb amputee who built the device he could not find on the market. That origin shapes everything we do: the engineering decisions, the clinical partnerships, and the standard we hold ourselves to. When the inventor is also the user, the feedback loop is closed in a way no focus group can replicate.

The device is FDA registered, protected by U.S. patents through 2041, and CE marked for the European market. It is available directly to certified O&P clinicians in the United States. Users have also been fitted internationally through humanitarian prosthetic programs, reflecting the device's reach beyond traditional commercial channels.

We work with prosthetists and the amputee community to ensure every design choice translates into real-world function, confidence, and durability. Our focus is singular: get the most capable body-powered terminal device in history to the people who need it most.
