Kate McDermott

Kate McDermott has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design and project management. Kate started their career as a Sutton Life Centre Assistant at the London Borough of Sutton, where they were responsible for various tasks such as marketing, designing advertisements, organizing community events, and managing bookings. Kate then worked as an Interior Design Assistant at mena interiors, where they gained extensive knowledge of the design and build process for high-end residential projects. Their role involved overseeing different stages of a project and creating technical drawings. After that, they joined AIS as a Workplace Designer, where they contributed to the design and layout of workspaces. Currently, Kate holds the position of Design Director at Maris Interiors LLP.

Kate McDermott attended Ricards Lodge High School in Wimbledon from 2003 to 2008 and earned their GCSEs. Kate then went on to Esher College from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued A/AS Level studies. Later, from 2010 to 2013, Kate attended the University of Portsmouth and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Interior Design.
