Jon Excell is an experienced editor and publisher currently serving as the Editor & Publisher of The Engineer at the Mark Allen Group since September 2020. Excell has a lengthy history with The Engineer Magazine, having held various roles including Editor from January 2010 to the present, Deputy Editor, and Features Editor from September 2004 to December 2009. Earlier in the career, Jon Excell worked as a Reporter for The Engineer from February 2003 to September 2004 and as an Assistant Editor at Design Engineering from February 2000 to February 2003. Jon Excell holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Reading, earned between 1991 and 1994, and attended Simon Balle School from 1984 to 1991.
