Patrick Cooney

Patrick Cooney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the tech and insurance sectors. Cooney co-founded Powerbroker AI in June 2023, focusing on workflow automation and AI for insurance agencies, and serves as Managing Partner at Mark II, a vertical SaaS and AI studio, since February 2022. Additionally, Cooney holds board member positions at GenServ AI and Bidify, and has invested seed funding in Condoit. Since March 2018, Cooney has been the Founder and President of Simpeo, a tech-enabled PEO that was acquired by GMS. Prior experience includes roles at Blink Health as Director of Business Development and Partner, Vice President at Sterne Agee, and Producer at Miller Insurance Services LLP. Cooney started a career in finance with a summer internship at the United States Senate in 2006. Cooney received education from the University of Mississippi.
