Katie Turk

Katie Turk is a graduate of the University of Virginia, having gained diverse experience in various roles from 2019 to 2025. Initially, Katie served as a Journalism Intern at Greenwich Free Press, where articles about local events and businesses were authored. A coaching role as a Rowing Coach for Greenwich Crew involved instructing middle school students on proper rowing techniques. As a Freelance Math Tutor, Katie taught Algebra I concepts to prepare students for eighth grade. While working at Pearl Certification and The Community Climate Collaborative, Katie focused on marketing and communications, developing promotional materials, managing social media, and supporting sustainability goals. The role at Green Fin Studio involved crafting communication campaigns and organizing events, followed by advancement to a position as Marketing Manager at Forge. Currently, Katie holds a Senior Associate position at Markacy, reflecting a strong background in marketing strategy and communications.
