Umair Aslam

Umair Aslam has a varied work experience, starting in 2009 as Co-Owner of Cyberdera & Slickzine. In 2010, they began working at Telenor as a Digital Marketing Executive, and over the next nine years held various roles such as Product Owner Acquisition and Retention, Head of Performance Marketing & Analytics, Consultant Revenue Growth and Pricing, Head of Core Product Pricing, Business Planning Analyst, and 3G/4G Product Pricing and Evaluation Expert. In 2020, they became Co-Founder of ConvertBunny, a data-centric digital services company. In 2021, they have been Co-Founder of Markaz Technologies (YC W22), Member of Reforge, Director, Head of Growth and B2C Strategy at JazzCash, and Head of Growth and Campaigns (Expat) at Wave Money. Umair has also been a Project Consultant at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Director, Head of Growth (Easypaisa) at Telenor Microfinance Bank Limited. In 2022, they are scheduled to become Visiting Faculty at the Institute of Business Administration.

Umair Aslam has a diverse educational background. Umair attended Y Combinator in 2020 for a Startup program, Institute of Business Administration from 2006 to 2010 where they received a BBA in Finance, Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2013, INSEAD in 2018 where they received a Strategy Execution Program in Business Administration and Management, and Telenor Academy in 2018-2019 where they received an Accelerate Expert Diploma in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they obtained a Nano Degree in Digital Marketing from Udacity in 2017. Umair has also obtained numerous certifications from Reforge, LinkedIn, and other institutions.
