Daniel Tucker

Daniel Tucker is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in database management and software engineering. Currently serving as IT Manager at Markel since August 2015, Daniel has held various positions including Principal Software Engineer and Senior Database Administrator, with responsibilities focused on database performance, maintenance standards, and backup policies. Prior to Markel, Daniel worked at TMG Health from November 2004 to May 2014 as a Senior Database Administrator, where efforts were concentrated on optimizing database performance for a client base of 2.5 million Medicaid and Medicare members. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Pennsylvania State University, obtained between 2001 and 2004.
