Jeff Fields

Jeff Fields is a Managing Director of Wholesale Business Development at Markel, where they have worked since 2008, specializing in excess and surplus professional liability, binding P&C, and ocean marine business development. From 2014 to 2014, they served as Senior Director, Underwriting and Production, overseeing marketing and underwriting efforts for the Mid South region. They have progressively advanced through various roles at Markel, including Director of Marketing and Underwriting, and Marketing Manager. Prior to joining Markel, they were a Senior Underwriter/Department Manager at U.S. Risk Insurance Group, where they managed a $14 million book of business. Fields earned a BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Dallas.
