Kelli Plusch

Kelli Plusch serves as the Chief Tax Officer at Markel Group since December 2023, having held various leadership roles within Markel since May 2001, including Managing Director and Global Head of Tax, Senior Director of Global Tax Planning & Strategy, and Director of International Tax and Tax Compliance, among others. Prior to joining Markel, Kelli Plusch worked at Fort James Corporation as International Tax Manager and International Tax Analyst, and at Universal Leaf Tobacco Company as Senior Accountant. Kelli Plusch began a career in auditing at Lawyer's Title Insurance Company as an Internal Auditor. Educationally, Kelli Plusch holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech and a Master's degree in Taxation from Virginia Commonwealth University.
