Sal Pollaro is currently the Regional President for the Northeast at Markel, where they oversee operations in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Previously, Sal held various leadership positions at Markel, including Managing Director and Executive Underwriting Officer, as well as Managing Director of Management and Professional Liability. Prior to their tenure at Markel, Sal served as Executive Vice President at Zurich Financial Services from 1996 to 2009. Sal earned an MBA from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business between 1996 and 2000.
