Simon Wilson

Simon Wilson is the Chief Executive Officer of Markel Insurance. They have spent their career building and scaling the international operations of large specialty insurance organizations, gaining insights from teams across the globe and focusing on understanding and exceeding customers’ needs. Previously, they held roles including Managing Executive - Global Strategy at Markel (2020–2021) and Managing Director - National Markets at Markel International (2015–2020), where they were responsible for Markel's operations across Europe and Canada. Earlier in their career, they served as Managing Director, Lloyd's Asia at Lloyd's of London (2007–2010) and worked as a Consultant at Deloitte (2001–2003).
