Market Collective CIC is a purpose-driven Community Interest Company on a mission to revive the spirit of local shopping and empower UK-based small businesses. We support independent makers, creatives, and traders—from kitchen-table startups and rural artisans to high street independents and market stallholders—helping them thrive in a modern, connected economy.

Inspired by the strength of working together—like a hive—we believe community and collaboration are essential to survival and success. Our initiatives span online marketplaces, in-person events, business support programmes, and regional campaigns that reconnect people with the individuals behind the products they buy.

Whether it’s a ceramicist in Cornwall, a chocolatier in Northumberland, or a side-hustler in Sheffield, we believe every small business deserves a national stage.

We’re not here to reinvent the past—we’re here to build a better future for independent businesses in the UK.

Because when we support each other, we all thrive.
