Barbara Johnson has extensive experience in the nonprofit and marketing industries. Barbara worked as a Vice President of Client Services at MarkeTeam from October 2017 to the present. Barbara was also a Board Member at RedRover starting in January 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Principal at Johnson Nonprofit Consulting, where they provided fundraising solutions, strategic data analysis, and marketing and communications consulting to national, regional, and local nonprofits. Barbara also worked as a Vice President of Client Services at RobbinsKersten Direct (formerly LW Robbins) from February 2012 to January 2017, and as a Group Vice President at Grizzard Communications Group from September 2006 to July 2011. Barbara began their career at Target MarkeTeam, where they eventually became a Partner & Vice President, contributing significantly to the agency's growth. Barbara also gained experience as a Media Planner/Buyer at Earle Palmer Brown Advertising and as a Media Planner at Liller Neal.
Barbara Johnson's education history begins in 1980 when they joined the US Navy and studied Meterology until 1985. Barbara later attended Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained a BBA degree with a focus on Marketing and Business. During the same period, Barbara also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree at Kennesaw State University, which encompassed Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In terms of additional certifications, Barbara received a Certificate of Completion in the Trust-Based Selling Program from Trusted Advisor Associates LLC in January 2011. Barbara also participated in the Strictly Business: Dale Carnegie® Immersion Seminar offered by Dale Carnegie® of Georgia in 2007, and the Fearless Presentations course provided by The Leader's Institute in November 2006.
