George Cox

George Cox has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. George started their career as a summer intern at Open Seas Ltd in 1997. George then worked at Sophos as a UNIX evangelist from 1998 to 2001. In 2002, they joined Betfair as a UNIX sysadmin. George later transitioned to Lehman Brothers in 2004, where they worked as a developer until 2008. George then joined Nomura as a Linux/trading systems support engineer from 2008 to 2011. George then moved to Getco LLC in 2012 as an associate, where they worked until 2013. Currently, they are employed at MarketFactory since March 2014 as an Operations Engineer.

George Cox attended the University of Birmingham from 1996 to 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Business Studies.
