Emily Rector, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Emily began their career as an Associate at The UPS Store in 2014, where they worked until 2016. In 2016, Emily joined Fons PR, Inc. as a Contractor for eight months. Later that same year, they transitioned to MarketScale, where they held multiple positions. Initially, they served as a Content Marketing Manager from September 2016 to June 2018. Subsequently, Emily took on the role of Director of Operations from June 2018 to July 2019. From July 2019 to June 2022, they then advanced to the position of Director of People and Development at MarketScale. Currently, Emily holds the position of Senior Director of People and Development at MarketScale, starting in June 2022.

Emily Rector, SHRM-CP, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. Emily attended the university from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their degree, Emily has also obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they became a SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) through SHRM. Emily further expanded their qualifications by obtaining the People Manager Qualification (PMQ) from SHRM in March 2021. In May 2019, Emily also became a Notary Public through The State of Texas.
