Jon Richardson

Jon Richardson is an experienced manufacturing and engineering professional with a strong track record in plant operations, reliability engineering, and quality assurance. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Markforged since August 2020, Jon oversees manufacturing plant operations and new product industrialization, achieving notable EHS improvements and leading cost reduction initiatives. Previous roles include Plant Engineering Manager and Lead Manufacturing and Reliability Engineer at Markforged, where Jon implemented successful programs to enhance employee engagement and reduce unplanned downtime. Earlier experiences include reliability and quality engineering positions at Daramic, LLC, Berry Plastics Corporation, and Mead Johnson Nutrition, where Jon made significant contributions to process optimization, standardization, and global documentation efficiency. Jon holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville and an M.B.A. from Western Governors University.
