Kasey Smart

Kasey Smart is an experienced professional in engineering and technical support, currently serving as the Training Program Manager and Senior Technical Trainer at Markforged since January 2018. Prior experience includes roles as an engineering consultant for Voxel8 Developer's Kit owners, and Technical Support Engineer at Voxel8, managing customer support efforts. Kasey has also held leadership positions in academic settings, including Co-Chair at The Irschick Lab and Director of 3D Printing with the UMass MIE Student Run Makerspace. Kasey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016, further complemented by early career roles in racecourse construction and golf course maintenance.
