When we joined college, we realized how difficult it was to track attendance. With a strict 75% attendance requirement and a manual attendance system, students have no easy way to know which classes they must attend and which they can afford to miss.

Existing attendance trackers are inefficient—they require students to manually enter attendance and repeatedly update their timetables.

To solve this, we founded MarkMyUni on 8th Dec 2025

MarkMyUni uses live location tracking and AI to automatically mark attendance. Students upload their timetable once, and the system uses geofenced campus locations combined with class schedules to determine whether a student is attending a class.

This allows students to track attendance in real time, avoid falling below the cutoff,students will receive notifications regarding the classes in which their attendance is at risk of being below cutoff. Students can then focus on attending the classes that matter most.
