Christopher A. Cacace, CPA, is Partner-in-Charge of the Theater, Media, and Entertainment Group at Marks Paneth LLP and Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Westchester office. He is also a member of the Marks Paneth Executive Committee, which sets policy and strategy for the firm. He has deep expertise serving theater and entertainment clients and has done so for nearly 40 years.

Mr. Cacace started his career in accounting at Pinto Winokur & Pagano CPASs theater practice, which through a series of mergers eventually became a part of a global firm, and later a successor firm. He became a partner in 1997 and joined Marks Paneth LLP in 2013.

He is a trusted business adviser and advises his clients on all facets of accounting and tax issues. His entertainment clients include a significant number of high-profile First Class and Off-Broadway theatrical production companies, performing in New York City as well as touring companies in the US and internationally, as well as producers and other industry professionals.

In addition, Mr. Cacace has worked with privately-owned companies in a variety of industries, providing accounting, auditing, and related services to businesses as well as owners.

As an industry expert, Mr. Cacace has given presentations to the Commercial Theatre Institute, the Broadway League, financial institutions, and law firms on a variety of topics. He also consults with several not-for-profit theater companies.
