Guy Peterson

Guy (Clarence) Peterson, IV is a seasoned auditing and accounting professional currently serving as Shareholder and Attest Practice Leader at Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. since January 2022, following the acquisition of Marks Paneth by CBIZ-MHM. Peterson also holds the title of Managing Director in CBIZ Marks Paneth, where responsibilities include leading the Audit and Accounting Professional Standards Group and performing technical quality reviews. With extensive experience at Deloitte from 1989 to 2020, Peterson held various leadership roles, including National Inspection Team Leader and Engagement Quality Control Reviewer, focusing on compliance with auditing standards and managing internal inspections both domestically and globally. Additionally, Peterson has been an Executive Board Member, President, and Treasurer for the Newtown Forest Association Inc. since 2003, overseeing a non-profit land trust. Peterson earned a BS in Accounting from Providence College in 1989.
