Laura Stokes

Laura Stokes is a seasoned event management professional with extensive experience in both corporate and private sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Event Manager at MARKT-PILOT since November 2025, prior roles include Global Engagements & Events Manager at Rekor, where Laura managed high-profile events that supported revenue growth and enhanced the company’s industry position. As a founding member of the Employee Resource Group EmpWR, Laura championed initiatives for gender equity and diversity within Rekor. Laura's previous experience also includes Director of Private Events at The Johns Hopkins University, overseeing 150+ events annually, and various roles in event management and operations within the arts sector. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Harp Performance from The Peabody Institute and a Certificate in Management Development from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School.
