Dale Trigger

Dale Trigger has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering, automation, packaging, and product development. They have held various leadership roles throughout their career.

Dale's most recent position was as the Vice President and Head of Engineering, Automation, and Packaging at Marley Spoon, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director of Packaging and Automation at CookUnity from July 2021 to December 2021.

From 2013 to 2021, Dale worked as a Product Development & Packaging Design & Engineering Consultant. During this time, they provided consulting services in these areas.

In 2020, Dale briefly served as the Senior Director of Operational Excellence at Rent The Runway.

From 2019 to 2020, Dale held the role of Senior Director of Packaging Engineering and Design at Plated. Earlier in their tenure at Plated, they also worked as a Senior Packaging Engineer and played a significant role in developing packaging design methodologies, supply chain management, and cost reduction initiatives.

Before their time at Plated, Dale was the Director of Product Development at Help Remedies from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they led teams and made strategic decisions related to new product development, product enhancements, and compliance with FDA regulations.

Dale co-founded a brand strategy and development consultancy in 2010, where they served as a Co-Founder and worked with a large CPG retailer. Additionally, they taught classes at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) within the Industrial Design program.

From 2006 to 2010, Dale worked at the Arnell Group as a Lead Product Engineer. In this role, they collaborated with creative directors, designers, and clients to identify new product opportunities and lead product innovation and development.

At Smart Design, Dale worked as a Prototype Engineer from 2003 to 2006. They were involved in the design, engineering, and manufacture of home maintenance and kitchen tools, particularly contributing to the development of silicone sink strainers and spatulas.

Dale began their career at Universal Target Systems in 2001 as an Engineer. They were part of a team that developed multi-role drone aircraft and successfully demonstrated the technology in Pakistan.

Dale Trigger pursued their Bachelor of Arts in Prototyping from the University of the West of Scotland between 1999 and 2002. Apart from this, Dale also attended Bell College for an unspecified duration where they focused on Mechanical Engineering.
