Marek Groch has significant work experience in various roles within the telecommunications and aerospace industries. Marek is currently serving as the Head of Customer Support for the Energy Enterprise & Government Business Unit at Marlink since January 2023. Previously, Marek held the position of Head of Enterprise Support at Marlink from January 2020 to December 2022. Prior to joining Marlink, they worked at Airbus Defence and Space as the Systems Group and Implementation Director from January 2015 to December 2019. Marek also served as the NOC Systems Group Manager at Astrium Services BC Customer Operations from September 2012 to December 2014. Before that, they worked at Vizada Networks, where they held the positions of Platform Manager from October 2011 to October 2012 and Sales Engineer from September 2007 to May 2012. Marek's earlier work experience includes working as a System Engineer at the Project Department of Telenor Communications Services BV from May 2006 to September 2007 and as a Field Engineer at Telenor Slovakia from September 2002 to April 2006.
Marek Groch has an extensive education history. Marek attended Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave from 1996 to 2002, where they earned a Dipl. Ing. degree in the field of telecom. During the same period, they also studied at FEI STU, where they obtained a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Before their university studies, Marek Groch completed their secondary education at Gymnazium.
