Sharon Ong

Sharon Ong has extensive work experience, starting in 2006 as a Senior Consultant at Muu Consulting. In this role, they specialized in providing consulting services for enterprise application solutions, including Microsoft .Net development and Enterprise Content Management Solutions. Sharon was able to independently engage with clients, present solution ideas, and lead discussions with potential and existing clients.

In 2009, Sharon joined Marlink as a Key Account Manager in the Asia Pacific region. Their responsibilities included driving continuous business growth and retention in the Maritime Industry, developing and growing key interest markets, and strategizing and developing business plans for the market region.

Later, Sharon assumed the role of Sales Director for Asia Pacific at Marlink in 2016. In this position, they continued to maximize growth potential and was responsible for overall sales in the region.

Overall, Sharon Ong has demonstrated expertise in enterprise application solutions and sales management in the maritime industry.

Sharon Ong completed their Diploma in Internet Computing with a focus on Data Communications and Networks at Temasek Polytechnic from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2005 to 2006. During their bachelor's program, Sharon double majored in Data Communications and Information Systems.
