Daniel Vega

Major League Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

Daniel Vega is entering their tenth season in professional baseball, serving as the Miami Marlins’ Head Strength and Conditioning Coach since 2024. Prior to this role, they were the Major League Assistant Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the Milwaukee Brewers from 2021 to 2024 and spent six seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals' Minor League system. Vega was also a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Dominican Republic National Team in 2019, aiming to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. They obtained a Master's degree in Strength and Conditioning from Springfield College and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Central Connecticut State University, demonstrating a strong educational background in their field. In addition to their professional experience, Vega is an avid Blood Platelets donor and enjoys music, lifting, and spending time with family.
