Fred Koczwara is the current Chief Financial Officer at the Miami Marlins. Fred has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on deals and mergers & acquisitions.
Fred began their career at Deloitte in September 1994, where they spent 10 years as a Senior Manager. In 2004, they moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they spent 15 years as a Director in their Deals / M&A Advisory department. At PwC, Fred was the lead Director for a number of the Firm's largest private equity clients, and they have extensive credentials and network in the private equity / finance / deal communities.
Over the course of their career, Fred has evaluated over 150 companies and has advised clients on a variety of financial matters related to pre-deal evaluation, post-deal integration, and value capture. Fred has a deep understanding of best practices in finance, corporate strategy, and operations, and they are able to identify both strengths and weaknesses in a company's financial structure. In their current role at the Miami Marlins, Fred is responsible for financial planning and accounting for the organization.
Fred Koczwara received a BSBA in Accounting from Bucknell University.
