Javier Carrillo

Javier Carrillo is an experienced professional in grounds management, currently serving as Manager of Grounds for the Miami Marlins since February 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing daily maintenance of the playing surface and managing a game-day grounds crew to meet MLB standards. Prior to this role, Javier held positions as Grounds Supervisor, Grounds Crew member for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club, Farm Manager at Perdue Farms, and Crew Leader at ValleyCrest Companies. Javier holds a Sport Turf Management Certificate from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Soil Science and Agronomy from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
