I set up Marmaladies Travel because I kept noticing the same thing — in myself and in others.

Booking a holiday isn’t usually the problem.
Deciding where to go, when to travel, and what will actually feel worth the time and money is.

Too many options, too much noise, and not enough headspace can turn what should be exciting into something draining — or endlessly postponed. I know how easy it is to default to something safe, familiar, or just “fine”.

My role as an independent travel agent is to help with the thinking part.

I take time to understand what you’re really looking for from a trip — whether that’s adventure, connection, rest, curiosity, or a mix of all four — and help shape that into the right destination and style of holiday. Often that means uncovering ideas people hadn’t considered, didn’t realise were possible, or assumed would be out of reach.

Once the decision is made, I take care of the practicalities — flights, accommodation, transfers, insurance and booking — so everything is properly organised and protected, without fuss.

Marmaladies Travel is personal, calm and considered.
It’s about moving from “where on earth?” to “it’s all sorted” — and giving people their time back so they can focus on what comes next.
